Typically there are things leaders wants to change in their school or district, but bringing about change is not always easy. In this session we will look at specific steps leaders can take to help change current practices of teachers or other administrators and how to make that change last. We will look through the lens of how to change homework, but we will also discuss other hot educational topics including: assessment, reading, rewards, and lesson design. Attendees will leave with resources and a plan on how to lead change in any educational topic or area they want to improve at their site or district.
